Caen is a very student town

Student life at ESITC Caen is rich and diverse. Students can find an activity to express themselves and grow: sports, social, cultural or artistic activities... through some fifteen clubs.

Located on Campus 2 of the University of Caen Basse-Normandie (25,000 students), a few minutes from the centre of Caen and the seaside, ESITC Caen benefits from an exceptional university, economic and leisure environment: university restaurants, housing, places to relax and enjoy activities, sports facilities, etc.

The school's student associations

Here are some of the clubs offered by the five major associations of the school...

  • The Student Office (BDE): no student life without parties and various activities (gala, ski trips, discovery weekends...)!
  • The Sports Office (BDS): sports are compulsory at ESITC Caen and there are plenty of options (rugby, basketball, football, volleyball, tennis...the list is long)! video
  • The Arts Office (BDA): shows, cultural visits... and weekly activities (music, dance, theatre, cheerleading...) video
  • The Social Office: blood donation, humanitarian actions (Telethon, Sidaction...) and prevention actions. 
  • The Carnival office: the Caen carnival is the biggest student carnival in Europe!
  • The Integration Centre: A special time for welcoming new arrivals, encouraging good integration and understanding the values of the civil engineering sector.
  • The K'fet office: the happy place at ESITC Caen!
  • Le Tremplin Construction: speed-dating events between students and professionals, dedicated to internships in Design Offices (BET) and End-of-Study Projects (PFE).
  • The Construction Forum: a must-see event for finding internships.
  • Visits to construction sites and midday meetings: in direct contact with the world of civil engineering!
  • TEP Construction: the "small business" of ESITC Caen students. It puts students' skills at the service of companies and individuals by combining professionalism and solidarity. 
  • La Réussite en Cordées: to promote academic success in middle schools, high schools and junior high schools: tutoring, tutoring support, guidance and other activities!
  • International solidarity: welcoming international students, helping engineering students in their internships or semesters abroad, humanitarian missions related to the construction industry, etc.
  • And many others!!!
